How does one who professes to believe in the tenets of Catholocism, simultaneously declare that life and the universe itself do not provide evidence of intelligent causality? Does the prospect of a genetic code and a minimal genome arising from a prebiotic soup appear scientifically plausible to him based on empirical evidence?
